Ms. Meggan Kiel and Mrs. Sandra Summers

On July 8th, Harshita Nagireddy, Annie Zhao, and Talisa Elliott had the pleasure of interviewing both Ms. Meggan and Ms. Summers, the Executive Director and Youth Council Advisor of MICAH, respectively. MICAH is an organization that describes themselves as a coalition of community and faith-based organizations joining together to give a more powerful voice for issues of justice in our city. Even while in this pandemic, both individuals have brought awareness to issues- regardless of whether they are “trendy”.While encouraging the youth, they also reminded us that life is not a definitive path; doing what we truly believe in is the real reward. Their advice and wisdom are impactful and worthwhile for anyone!
